Oh, the ways we can help with our hands!

Max  Lucado is a popular Christian author  and minister that is well loved  by many. He not only writes books for adults but has many titles written  especially for children. You maybe familiar with his Hermie books and video series. Gaby Hansen shares her talents in illustrating the delightful story of One Hand,Two Hands written by Max Lucado. This story teaches our children the importance of helping and serving others.

The  main character of the story is a young girl that imagines her toys have  come to life. She goes about the day teaching them the importance of  using hands in a positive and helpful manner. The story ends with a  rhyming prayer of thanks to God. Also, there is a review listed in three  categories:  helping hands, kind hands and loving hands. There are many  examples like feeding a pet, sharing a snack with a friend, hugging  mommy and daddy, waving to a friend and many others.

This story is great for sharing with young children at home, church or school.
